ISTE Student Chapter Committee.

The Indian Society for Technical Education is a national, professional, non-profit making Society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. First started in 1941 as the Association of Principals of Technical institutions (ATPI), it was converted into "Indian Society for Technical Education" in 1968 with a view to enlarge its activities and to advance the cause of technological education.BBSBEC is accredited by ISTE and ISTE chapter at BBBSEC is working under the supervision of ISTE Student Chapter Committe.ISTE organises various events such as TechFairs, ISTE conventions in its member Institutes.The ISTE chapter committee looks into the various events organized in the techfair and the conventions. The committee is headed by Prof. J.S. Oberoi

IEI Student Chapter Committee.

The Institution of Engineers (India) is the largest engineering professional society in the country,established with a view to promote and advance the science, practice and business of engineering in all its branches. BBSBEC is accredited by IEI and IEI chapter at BBBSEC is working under the supervision of IEI Student Chapter Committee.IEI organises Technical Functions in its member institutes.This committee manages various events that are being organized by IEI in the college premises .Events include paper presentation, debates, seminars , technical Quizzes etc,.People from industry and various research centers are invited for delivering seminars and lectures.This committee is headed by Prof. Lakhvinder Singh HOD Electronics Deptt.

College Magazine Committee.

This commitee is incharge of anual college magazine -FATEH .The magazine mainly consists of four sections namely English, Hindi ,Punjabi and Technical.For Each section concerned faculty menber and students are appointed. This section is headed by Prof. Amritbir Singh.

Cultural Committee.

India’s persity of religions, languages, and cultures is unparalleled.Nation’s intricate ethnic mosaic is reflected by its art, architecture,music, and dance. BBSBEC formulated a college level cultural committee to preserve this marvelous culture. This committee organises and manages all the cultural activites and events which are held in the college during various college level, universty level functions.This committee also organises a cultural function for the annual convocation and an extravagant event "Dazzling Dusk Night" for the techfair. Continuing the legacy, this committee also arranges for the versatile singers for the annual concert.

NSS Committee.

This committee is mainly involved in organising events of social concern which includes Blood donation Camps , Tree Plantation sprees etc twice a year. This committee also collects funds by indulging in various activites to support aspiring students from financially weak background.NSS seeks to raise social consciousness and provide students with opportunities to work with people in and around the educational campus creatively and constructively and put education to social use. This is one of the active organisations of the college.This committee is headed by Prof. Lakhvir Singh.

Sports Committee.

This committee is incharge of organising the Annual Athletic Meet which is held every year in the month of March-April.The committee also manages the various universty level events which are held in the college's gymnasium.This committee is headed by Dr D.S Seerah.

Training & Placement Committee.

This wing has to its credit placements of final year students in organizations of repute which offer handsome packages to the pass outs of this institute.This commiuttee is headed by Prof. B.S. Bhullar Dean Training and Placement.

BBSBEC Alumni Association.

This committee mainly works in the direction of motivating students to establish rapport among students, alumni and faculty in an effort to make the students feel proud of their institute.

Personality Development Committee.

This association organises workshops, seminars, lecture series on the personality development.This association aims at the all round development of the students persona.

Hostel Welfare Committee.

This committe regularly checks the smooth functioning of the hostel. It keeps an eye on the Maintenence,cleanliness and discipline of the hostel.Committe also checks the mess , quality of food being provided in the mess and menu management. For recreation and entertainment various indoor games like chess, tabletennis, badminton are provided to broaden the personality of the students.Various cultural functions are also organized in the hostel by this committee such as teej festival, welcome parties
